International Coffee Convention and TriestEspresso Expo join forces for a major international coffee week in Trieste

The week of TriestEspresso Expo 2026 will be further strengthened thanks to the agreement reached with the International Coffee Convention, which will take place in Trieste on 19 and 20 October 2026, in the days immediately preceding TriestEspresso Expo, scheduled from 21 to 23 October 2026.

The agreement between the International Coffee Convention and TriestEspresso Expo will give rise to a true international week dedicated to coffee, bringing together scientific content, innovation, market vision and business opportunities in a single calendar of events.

For exhibitors, visitors and participating companies, this collaboration represents significant added value. The close timing of the two events will help increase the overall appeal of the week, encouraging greater participation from international operators, qualified buyers, leading companies, industry experts, European media and stakeholders across the supply chain.

“This agreement marks an important step in strengthening Trieste’s international positioning as a coffee capital. The International Coffee Convention,” comments Antonio Paoletti, President of the Venezia Giulia Chamber of Commerce, which organises the trade fair through Aries, “will bring to Trieste a highly qualified audience interested in the major issues shaping the future of coffee: sustainability, health, science, safety, innovation, the circular economy and new market perspectives. TriestEspresso Expo will complete this journey with its B2B trade fair dimension, offering companies the opportunity to turn content, relationships and networking into business meetings. For participating companies, this means the chance to reach more visitors, build more international relationships, gain more specialised media attention and access more business opportunities.”

Two distinct but highly complementary events will therefore be able to enhance each other: on the one hand, the scientific and strategic debate promoted by the International Coffee Convention; on the other, the exhibition and business platform of TriestEspresso Expo, a key reference point for the espresso industry, roasting, technologies, green coffee, packaging, services and new opportunities in the markets of Central and Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean. The 2026 edition of the exhibition will also be enriched by competitions, workshops dedicated to sector updates, regulatory and technical insights, presentations of market studies and analyses of new trends across the coffee supply chain.

“The collaboration between the International Coffee Convention and TriestEspresso Expo,” Paoletti concludes, “therefore confirms the commitment to building an increasingly relevant event in Trieste for the entire international coffee industry: a week in which innovative content, qualified networking and business opportunities come together in a single project.”
